What is the difference between Brows and Lips PMU or Microblading and Full Face PMU?+
Brows and Lips PMU or Microblading is £2,000 and includes Microblading or Hairstrokes, Ombré / Powder Brows and Lip Blush. Full Face PMU is £2,500 and includes Hairstrokes, Ombré / Powder Brows, Lip Blush and Eyeliner.
What is the difference between Full Face PMU and VTCT Level 4?+
Full Face PMU is the £2,500 ABT / CPD training route. The £3,999 VTCT Level 4 pathway includes the formal Level 4 qualification route and its additional learning, evidence and assessment requirements.
Will I work on live models?+
Each student receives their own live model for supervised practical work. PMU Skool/provider can supply one, or you can bring your own suitable model by agreement.
What certification do I receive?+
Full Face PMU follows the applicable ABT or CPD training route. PMU Skool will confirm the exact certification applicable to your chosen provider before enrolment. Certificates are issued after training only when the tutor is satisfied with your model result and practical competence; attendance alone is insufficient.
Can I get insurance after completing the course?+
Insurance acceptance depends on the individual insurer and your circumstances. PMU Skool can provide guidance, but acceptance cannot be guaranteed.
Can I upgrade to VTCT Level 4 later?+
Students with suitable existing PMU training may be eligible for the VTCT Level 4 Upgrade Programme. Eligibility and any additional requirements are confirmed before enrolment.
Are payment plans available?+
Flexible payment options may be available subject to agreement with the training team.
What support do I receive afterwards?+
Students receive ongoing guidance around their treatment development, portfolio and getting started professionally according to the support included with their training.
How big are the classes?+
Classes usually have 2–3 students, with a maximum of 4, allowing close tutor supervision during practical work.
Will I work on a live model?+
Yes. Each student receives their own live model for supervised practical work, alongside a tutor demonstration.
Do you provide the live model or can I bring my own?+
PMU Skool or your training provider can supply your live model. You may bring your own suitable model if you prefer; agree suitability and arrangements with your provider before training.
What do I need to bring / what should I wear?+
You do not need to bring equipment. Tie back long hair, wear flat shoes and avoid loose or baggy clothing during practical training.
Is there any pre-course work?+
Yes. Complete the required workbooks and read your course manuals before course completion or attending the relevant practical training, as instructed. Students who have not completed the required preparation may be asked to leave the session, as attending unprepared can disrupt the learning flow of the class. Follow the preparation instructions supplied for your course.
When do I receive my certificate?+
For ABT / CPD specialist and package training, certificates are issued after training only when the tutor is satisfied with your model result and practical competence. Attendance alone does not qualify you for certification. VTCT qualifications have their own required learning, practical evidence and assessments; the ABT / CPD completion rule does not replace those requirements.
What happens if I need more practice after training?+
You can return for additional supervised practice if needed, at an additional cost. Discuss the arrangements and cost with your advisor. For ABT / CPD training, your tutor must be satisfied with your model result and practical competence before issuing a certificate; VTCT assessment requirements remain separate.
What support do I receive after training?+
Ongoing WhatsApp mentoring includes mapping, healing, colour selection, treatment feedback, pricing, portfolio development and troubleshooting. PMU Skool also provides general student and business guidance.
Do you help me get paying/practice clients after the course?+
After successful course completion, students who have a suitable treatment setup at home can access THREE paying-client practice opportunities, with each client paying £50–£150 per treatment. You must meet the insurance and local licensing requirements that apply to your circumstances before treating paying clients. No income or timescale is promised. Additional supervised practice is available at an additional cost.
Are payment plans available?+
Flexible deposit and split-payment options are available subject to eligibility and agreement with the training team. The deposit is 50% of the course price.
When is the remaining balance due?+
The remaining balance is due no later than 5 days before the course start date.
What happens after I pay my deposit?+
You receive a booking confirmation email and your course manuals, and you are booked into an onboarding call with an advisor. Complete the required preparation as instructed before the relevant practical training.
Can I reschedule my course?+
You may reschedule once if you give at least 14 days’ notice before the course start date. If you request a reschedule within 14 days of the start date, your deposit is lost.
What are the cancellation/refund terms?+
If you cancel at least 14 days before the course start date, your deposit is refundable less a £250 non-refundable booking/admin fee. If you cancel within 14 days of the course start date, your deposit is lost.
Can I see who my tutor will be before booking?+
Yes. Tutor information can be shared during the booking process and before booking if you request it.
